Useless Knowledge Trivia - Free Event

This year has been interesting, to say the least. We’re fortunate to have Takeout Trivia to get us through it. We’ve danced, sang-along and have made our way through some challenging quizzes. You’ve welcomed us into your homes, and for that, we are forever grateful. Simply put, you guys rock. To say thanks, we are running a FREE event! You’ve asked for general trivia, so that’s what you’ll get! Expect new mini-games, FREE passes to upcoming themed events and a true test of your useless knowledge. 🛋 GET THE BAR TRIVIA EXPERIENCE FROM YOUR COUCH!

Interact with a live host and other super fans on Zoom, while playing trivia on a website that records your score in real time. You will answer 60 multiple choice questions over the course of 3 rounds, and will be with us for 90-ish minutes including fun breaks. 

💻 WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?   Hundreds of regular teams play with us each and every week. We're not just playing trivia we are throwing a party! Between trivia rounds, we are going to chat with you, check out your costumes, sing songs, do impressions, and match you head to head against other teams. Of course, you can always turn off your Zoom camera if that's not your thing.     Our team of writers are all Super Fans that create challenging original questions that will never be the same.     Still, don't believe that our trivia is the bee's knees!? 🐝  Then check out all our positive reviews on Facebook (one of them is even from my Mom).

💴 OK, BUT WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?

Aside from an awesome experience, we'll be giving away lots of free passes to our upcoming theme events.

⌚️WHAT TIME DOES IT START?

The event starts at 8:30 PM (EASTERN TIME). Tickets are FREE, and you can play from anywhere in the world.  

👍🏼 SOUNDS GREAT. HOW DO I PLAY? 

So glad you asked. An hour before the event starts, we'll email you an Event Guide with everything you'll need to play! Just make sure you have access to a modern tech device, as in a smartphone, tablet or computer. It's easier to use 2 devices, one to view Zoom and the other to answer questions on the website. Plenty of teams use just one device though.  

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 HOW DO TEAMS WORK? 

You will be sharing one device to answer all the questions, so it's easier if a team consists of just you or people in your household. However, it's possible to connect and play with folks outside of your house using a meeting app other than Zoom (FaceTime, Text, Goole Hangouts, an old fashioned phone call, etc.).

👨‍💻 HOW DO YOU PREVENT CHEATING? 

You will only have 25 seconds to answer each question. We also have some picture and un-Google-able (is that a word?) questions.
